Happy Happy Birthday Daddy dear!

Today is dads birthday- before going to take him lunch Allie went to her preschool group- she loves having some friends to play with and be back in 'school' again! When I picked her up today we went to take lunch to daddy!
Allie and Lance found the video game waiting area to wait for dad! Busy working!

Happy bday! This is the office in Cascade park. He works here on Wednesdays and Fridays, then in Salmon Creek on Tuesdays and Thursdays for now.
We'll get pictures of the new office in Battle Ground when that's done.

Dinner time fun

The other night at dinner something got Lance laughing pretty hard. The more we would look at him, the more he would laugh. He actually had tears in his eyes from laughing. After awhile, Allie went and grabbed the camera and told me to get a picture of him. He can crack us up- and himself too!

Oregon Zoo

We took advantage of a DRY day on the kids day off from school and headed to the Oregon Zoo in Portland with some cousins! The kids loved seeing some of the animals up close, and moving around!

This elephant was doing tricks for food- that was fun to watch!

Heres the crew enjoying the zoo-
The highlight was the bird exhibit where you could feed the birds while they landed on you.

Allies liked holding the cup out, but wasn't sure she wanted them to land on her!
Dylan with his cousin Brock- they enjoyed watching how much these birds would pee!

Quinn with Lance and his sister Ariane with Camree! So fun!
This was a fun zoo- and not too far away. We got a membership so we can go more often!

Dylans first basketball team!

Quinn has always told Dylan not to get into basketball, because he was destined to be short, but since we moved to Washington he had some friends playing and was invited to be on their team. He was nervous, but excited to be out playing sports again. We got some pictures from his first basketball jamboree.

Dylan likes to throw the ball in and run fast down the court- he does have some speed!

It is fun to watch him play- it makes me remember my basketball days.
I don't think its Dylans favorite- but he thinks its pretty fun and is enjoying it!

Happy New Year

Some Party Pictures from New Years Eve at the Hadfields house.

The big countdown ( a little early for the little ones).
Makayla was super excited because she stayed up until midnight this year!

Jorgenson Family Christmas

With my sister and her family here, and my parents flying up from California, we had a little Jorgenson Family Christmas at our place this year!
We need to have Uncle Rob over more- Lance had fun talking on the phone with him while we were opening presents.

Having Fun with Grandma and Grandpa J!
My parents were able to stay for a few days and play! We had fun showing them the kids new school- and enjoying some crazy Washington weather of sun/rain/and snow all week.

We love you!

Go Tater Tots!!

My big kids are now Tater Tots. Yes- that is their school mascot. They are not excited about it, but the high school is the spudders, so they are raised in the spirit here. This is the first school they've gone to where they ride the bus. It picks them up right in front of our house, at 7:25 am. In Nebraska, Dylan didn't wake up until about 7:45. so he is adjusting. They do like getting home earlier.
Here they are getting home from school! They are adjusting well- being a tater tot is not too bad.

It does snow in Washington!

On our drive home from the lodge we ran into some snow. It took us a little longer to get home, because there were cars stopping all over the place. I guess they aren't as used to snow as we have been. It stayed around for a couple of days and we thought it was pretty fun.It was pretty wet heavy snow so their were snowmen all over town.
Before we could get tired of it- it was all gone. I think that's the way to enjoy it.

Great Wolf Lodge

For a special Christmas present- we gave our kids a night at the Great Wolf Lodge - a fun hotel and water park. The extra special surprise was all their cousins and both grandmas and grandpas were going too. It was a fun couple of days. If we got too cold inside- there was a warm hot tub, Lance ended up enjoying. The kids were super excited to see Grandma and Grandpa J there!

This was the night we had ALL the Draper family together, so we got up early before swimming and took a big family picture.

Makayla and Dylan loved this water slide- and having so many cousins to ride with. My sister and her family came to play too.
Allie and Lance loved the kid play area.

Going swimming!

In the evenings they have a PJ story time for kids in the lodge. Then they made it snow inside! It was fun.

It wore them out. What a fun Christmas present!

Christmas Day 2009

We were able to go over the creek and through the canyon to Grandmas house this year. They live pretty close, and all of Quinns siblings and their families came for Christmas. It was a fun, busy break. Makayla found a spot in the kids closet to read to some cousins. Then more cousins came! Brinley, Allie, McKenzie, Makayla, Aspen and Cassidy!

Opening cousins presents- lots of fun!

The dads enjoying the show.
