The Vampires and the witch

Man- I guess we've been busy- I just finished 6 posts to our blog. Time to go carve pumpkins I guess! We've had a fun fun fall break! Happy halloween!
make that 7....

Ghouls on the Run

Today- Halloween morning- I ran with Makayla and her friends for the Girls on the Run 5K!
Girl Power!!There are a lot of runners here!

The warm cheering team-

Coming across the finish line- in 34:00 minutes!!
6 minutes faster than her last run!
Makayla was so awesome in this run- her friend counted and said she was in 27th!
Way to go sis.
A few times in the race I could tell she was getting tired and told her we could walk for a bit, but she would speed up and run some more!
As we were coming to the finish she said 'I don't want to have any energy left'- and took off!
It was a fun run- Im proud of her!!

Jessie, Makayla and Megan!

Dads school

We met the McAllister kids getting treats too-

Our last year to go Trick or treating at the dental school! Yipee!

We met dad and he took us around the college and the kids got lots of treats!Harry Potter showing off dads corner of the "cave!"

Ward halloween party

We had a fun fall party/ chili cook off/ church-or-treat/ carnival this week at the church.
It was rainy so the trunk or treat moved indoors.
Here's Allie playing a good game of "Whack A Bishop" Tanya challenged Dylan to this doughnut eating game- and she is a pro. Dylan could not get that thing in his mouth!

Still trying to get a picture of these cute boys together- it was easier when they couldn't walk.
Makayla and Liahona- cute girls

Allie and Sir Lincoln

Some of the rowdy crowd!

Pumpkin Patch

There was no school this week for fall break, so mom was able to take the kids to the pumpkin patch. We had a nice sunny day between the rain so we took advantage of it!
The kids thought this could be dads new practice: Lance thought there were lots of balls to play with!

New this year was this fun long tube slide.

We made it through a little haunted house- it was a fun day!

Our Cub Scout

Dylan has had mixed emotions about scouts- it was something he did with Caleb-but he goes each week and worked to get his bobcat at pack meeting. Way to go Dylan!
Also his swimming, baseball and soccer belt loops and pins!

Mother Daughter Book Club

Mother daughter book club pictures:

The Competition, Where the other sock goes, and the Egyptian

Makayla and I have had so much fun in this club. We've been doing it for a year now and have read some fun books and played with great friends. This month we wore costumes and watched 'Holes'. That was a fun book- our host even made SPLOOSH. (it was yummy!)

Fun Fall

Some random pics from things we've been doing this fall:
Our friends found a snake in the road and brought it over to share- how nice of them!! ;) My talented friend made a duck towel for Lance as a baby present, but lately he and Allie have been fighting over who got to be the duck after the bath. So i put in an order and she made a girl duck for an early bday present for Allie. I think they are pretty cute!
Allies field trip to the pumpkin patch!

A picture of the moving day!
Celebrating Tanyas bday at our place.

Our early snow fall.

Packing is always fun when you have lots of helpers!

Fall is here

Im glad there is a little play area in the apartments, the kids love to be outside!

(Dylan was being grumpy and wouldn't pose for cute pictures.)
We have had a wet fall, so we are enjoying the dry leaves. The kids are helping out the apartments by getting all the leaves in piles for them! I guess a nice thing of not having a house, I don't have leaves to rake up!
Happy Fall!

You say goodbye, I say hello.....

Last week I took the kids over to the House to drop off the keys and say goodbye to our house on Bingham Ln. I know we were ready to leave, but its always a little sad to close another chapter of life and move on. We invited our friends over to say goodbye with us. The kids thought it was great to run around an empty house!
Tanya was looking way too cute for the day...

I wanted to take pic outside but it was raining AGAIN.

Some cute kiddos!

Goodbye... Hello!
The kids do love the new apartment, Im glad we have some room.
They really enjoy throwing toys from the loft to the living room.

Dad playing tricks with the kids in the apartment.

We are up on the third floor, so the kids love riding the elevator. There is a little park in the complex so they like to go outside and play there then ring the buzzer for me to let them in. Plus- we are right across the street form our old neighborhood, so we are still close to our friends and school.

SOLD

This is going to be a busy couple of weeks. We're thrilled our house sold, but now we've got to move to an apartment across the street until December when we move from Lincoln. It's been sad to think another chapter of our lives is ending, so many good memories, so much to look forward to! I like how makayla and dylan are trying to look so sad in the picture. They are really being good troopers with all the changes!
