All I want for Christmas is a snowblower!
Even with me shoveling it and Allie eating it, the neighbors with the snowblowers were a lot faster!
This morning when we woke up there was NO snow- then in 5 hours we had 5-6 inches! We had fun shoveling it out- I had a nice friend in the ward offer to come shovel for me- but Im counting that as my exercise for the day!

The poll results are in...
If you haven't had time to vote on our poll- we were at the Doctors office this morning to check on our little one.
Hurry- vote Quick!!!
Unfortunately, we aren't going to give the results at this time! ;) Dad wasn't able to be there- just mom, Makayla and Dylan. We'll give dad the news tonight. The kids said they will tell those of you at Christmas that we will see- and if we won't see you- you'll have to call to find out! Otherwise- you will have to wait for a surprise from us- (just want you to be extra excited to see us!)
The good news is the baby looked healthy and was in the 50th percentile- keeping our due date April 22nd, 2008! We are excited for this new addition to our family.

Two More Years...
Saturday night was the graduation dinner for the third year residents who are leaving this month! It was so neat to be there and think that will be us in two more years. It will be hard to see these friends go- they have been lots of help to us- but we are thrilled they are done! So heres the group of people Quinn spends all his days with!
Santa
We had some freezing rain saturday, so we were trapped inside most of the day. By the end of the day it had melted, and we were ready to get out- so we ran over to see Santa. Allie thought it was pretty fun and loved that he gave her a BAG. Didn't really care what was in it but loved it anyway! The big kids had fun too- we even got hot chocolate after.

What a difference a day makes...
Ouch!
I just wanted to put a pic in here from my exciting week. Monday morning as I was trying to do TOO many things at once, I kicked the corner of the couch. (Yes- by accident, Quinn already asked if I meant to.) I didn't have time to look at it- I was off to Kindermusik with Allie, so I limped through that class then used my left foot to drive home. By Monday night it was SUPER big and black and blue and red and purple. Anyways- the next morning the swelling had gone down so I took a picture. We have two foot Dr's in our ward- I spoke to one this morning and he said anytime a toe bruises up that much its broken, but if it's stayed in place you just let it heal. So maybe I have broken a bone once in my life- check that off my list.
Fall is here!

16 weeks
Allie went with me to the Dr. today, I am 16 weeks. I actually thought I was farther along and kinda hoping since my clothes don't fit anymore. Ive been wearing Quinns pants the last couple of days. My next appt. is set for Dec. 5th and we will have our ultra sound then. We are excited to see what we're having!!!

THE COSTUMES
Happy Halloween!
We survived another year of halloween fun. We kept busy with parties at the kids school, then trick or treating at dads school, then a trunk or treat at the church- then dad took the big kids around the block too. Now, what do we do with all this candy?
Here we are by Dr Quinn Drapers station at UNMC's orthodontic clinic. The kids were able to come get goodies at the school- and only came home with one tube of toothpaste!

Don't you wish you were here?
Well, our friends in Vegas wouldn't think twice about a nice fall day in October, but being here in Nebraska we took advantage of it. We spent most of saturday outside enjoying the warm sunny day. Mom got the lawn mowed and garage doors painted to surprise dad, and the kids found ways to keep busy outside. Allie likes to go in our dog kennel and play in the dirt- who says we need a dog? Dylan plays baseball until hes hit all his balls over fences and makayla played on the swing set and used the tree to swing too... Maybe soon we'll have pictures of us outside in the snow.
Reading Night
The other night Quinn left for a conference in Chicago so the kids and I had a reading night in our PJs out in the living room. ( This of coarse was followed by a Hannah Montana night on Friday.) Makayla found a comfy spot to do her books- it almost looks like shes asleep... then Dylan was reading a book to Allie. Every time he finished she would yell "AGAIN DYLNAN"! He would laugh and read again. Pretty fun night, so i took so pictures.

Number 4...
We know you may be wondering,
And some have even asked,
“Are you having another one,
Or is Allie really your last?”
We tried to wait to share our news,
Quinn thought Christmas would be fun-
But that just seems too far away
to announce another one.
We’re looking forward now to April,
We’ve heard spring babies are a joy.
Maybe in a month we’ll know-
Another girl or little boy?
For now we are all healthy,
We can’t complain much more.
We’re gearing up and getting ready:
Our kids will number FOUR!
So now it is official-
you’ve got your information.
QnA will grow by one-
See the picture for confirmation!

Yipee!!

Fun In Lincoln
We are having lots of fun in this beautiful town. The weather has been beautiful. Yesterday Allie and I got to go with Dylans class on a field trip to a park near us. It is over 600 acres of animals, trails and parks. We saw buffalo, frogs, owls, falcons, and dylan was the only one in his class to catch a grasshopper. A few weeks ago we stopped and rode the train at the zoo here in town. Heres a picture of the kids. What a beautiful place we have to live in-

Our house- before & during...
We have just finished putting up new siding on our house. We are getting the new gutters this week, then will need to paint the garage doors, trim and foundation! It is looking like a new house. Quinn tore out all the overgrown bushes out front- it was hard to walk up the steps- so we will be planting a new front yard too!! The finished pictures will come soon...
