Happy Anniversary!
I can't believe its been 11 years- but Quinn and I just had our 11 year anniversary. I guess I should post some pictures of our wedding and compare how much we've changed. Dylan commented "you were married 11 years ago?- I wasn't even born yet!" So, I guess were getting old! I had him take a quick picture of us as we left on our hot date to celebrate. We had a yummy dinner at Granite City then went shoe shopping for Quinn, but still didn't get him any. The poor guys been wearing the same shoes he got his first year of dental school. Its been an exciting 11 years and I'm looking forward to an eternity more! I love you babe!

My MOST favorite calling
I was recently called to be the chorister in primary in our ward. I had this calling in Las Vegas before we moved and I had so much fun with it. I was thrilled to get this calling again and would be happy to do this for the rest of my life. The perks of being chorister:
No presidency meetings
No week night activities
You get to work with ALL the primary kids
You get to be the 'fun' primary lady
The primary songs are awesome
You can use your sunday lessons for awesome FHE's
My kids love having me in primary
You get to help with the primary program (my most favorite sunday of the year)
The ideas are endless...
Quinn says I 'over do it'. but then I look online at the activities other sisters do and realize Im nowhere near them. This week we are playing this little game I put together: Sing your way home-
I hope it goes well- I think the klids will like it, since its a 5th sinday I will have Jr and Sr together. Anyways- I am having lots of fun so far with this calling!
One side note: If you ever do the activity where the bishop comes in wearing an old tie you bought for him at the goodwill, and you tell the kids "If you sing super well, we will cut pieces off of the bishops special tie", make sure his son isn't in primary thinking youre cutting up his grandpas special family treasure. He may start to cry.

Picture Sunday
It has been so nice here in Nebraska, so this evening after dinner we all found ourselves outback. Allie is here posing with our garden daddy worked so hard on!
Is he cute or what? Can you believe hes two months old?
The boys falling asleep on the swing!
Dylan playing with his pitch back- this boy has a ball in his hands all day long.
Such a fun day!
Strawberry Fields forever
I can't believe we went strawberry picking and I forgot the camera! The kids were great pickers, and Allie decided to just pick and eat- no need to fill up the basket. Quinn was really getting into it and soon we had 14 lbs of strawberries! Yummy.
Since I didn't get pictures of us picking- I took some pictures like granny- of our harvest. We made three batches of jam, two pies and had some strawberry shortcake too!
My granny used to take pictures of all the harvest they got out of their garden, even all the pies she would make. Guess we know where our pictures taking tradition came from! We miss our granny!
Yummy yummy strawberries!!!

Happy Fathers Day!

As I listened to the speakers in church today, I got a little emotional thinking about my dad and all the sacrifices he made for me growing up. I always could go to my dad for anything and knew he would help me. He always lead the biggest cheering section at all my sporting events and laughed at my crazy jokes. I always knew how much my dad loved me, and I am so thankful for him!
Then I married this great guy who has a special love for his dad as well. When my roommates through me a bridal shower they had a bunch of questions I had to answer about Quinn. When they asked me who his hero was, I knew to say "his dad". Larry is such a good example to me as well, and to our kids.
So to all the dads out there- thanks for all you do! It is a great calling to be a father.

summer pictures
Here are some pictures from our fun summer day yesterday. We sure have some great friends to have such fun parties. We are going to do this again!
Allie and her best buddy from nursery!
The big kids took a minute to decide if they wanted to get wet. (its not as hot here as Vegas), but eventually they did the slip n slide real well!
My friend has a two year old and these cute twin boys. While her older boy was playing we put Lance in there with his buddies. Are they cute or what?
We are really enjoying this nice weather!

Summer Days
I haven't downloaded any pictures from our fun summer days yet, but I thought I would write a little about how our summers going thus far! We went to a friends today and she had invited over lots of friends to play in the backyard. She had a pool blown up and a slip and slide and lots of fun toys to play with . The kids had a blast and it was fun to visit with some other moms.
We started talking about blogs and how fun they are to keep in touch with, so I had to come home and check out my friends and families blogs to see how everyone is doing. I just have to say how much I love seeing pictures of you and your families, and how I miss them so much! Everyday we talk about some of our friends or our family who don't live near us, and how we wish we could see them more. So thank you for keeping your blogs up- I don't always leave comments but love to check them often. And we love sharing our lives with each of you who mean so much to us. My kids always ask me to put the fun pictures of them on the blog because they know their friends and grandparents and cousins will see them.
Having four kids seems to be giving me a run for my money and I hardly have time to get on the computer for more than 10 minutes before Im off to do something else:
(funny side note)
Today when I came home to check the blogs I had been on about 2 minutes when Lance (who I was holding) filled his diaper, then Allie found some of sisters lip gloss she thought was lotion and rubbed all over her hands, and Dylan called from upstairs because he had spilled a bowl of cereal on the floor. My moment on the computer was over.
Anyways- just wanted to say were surviving and we love to hear from you. Thanks for meaning so much to us! More pictures soon!

Messy Allie May
Here she is on the kitchen table making a snow angel in the flour after we made pizza. She thought it was so much fun because her brother and sister kept laughing at her! I think my brother liked to play in flour when he was this age too.
Dylan and dad and sports oh my!
Dylan had his last soccer game last saturday, and he had a great time on a fun team and loved that his dad got to help out at the games. Quinn loves to be involved in sports and loves to watch Dylan love them as well!
Dylans team party- I guess Dylan thought the trophy's were made of chocolate!
And now its right on to baseball! His First game was monday night and theres his dad with the coach shirt on. Dylans playing coach pitch this year, and Quinn LOVED getting to pitch to the boys. He really had almost as much fun as the kids.
Theres Dylan- he did great and was thrilled when he made an out at first!
