Lancey Pants

Lance is getting so big- I had to get some picture in here of him. He is almost 8 months- yikes! And he is already at 20 lbs! He is a husker boy. This is the first baby Ive had in a place with stairs. He already tumbled down them last week. Yep- I need a baby gate.
He loves to pull himself up onto everything and try and be big.

Its hard to workout with Lance getting into everything- and getting there quickly.

He is such a happy baby boy! Still no teeth, but we love his cheesy smile.

The Christmas Program

At our ward party- the primary put on a little Christmas program. Makayla was Mary. It was hard to get a picture because of the spotlight, but got her as they were changing scenes.

Dylan was a wicked Nephite who shot arrows at Samuel. He thought it was funny to hit him, even though we read the scripture in family night about how Samuel never got hit.

I had Allie sit with the choir kids and sing with us. What a fun night!

We have a tree!

It is starting to feel like Christmas now. We went Saturday and saw Santa- then found this fun tree farm and cut a Christmas tree! Allie wanted to get a tree that was her size- she was out voted. For some reason the trees look smaller out in the field, then we had to trim it down when we got home. Its nice and cozy in our little corner now.
It is hard to find a tree that everyone likes, but after enough walking and looking I think enough of us decided lets just get one and get done!

To get out to the trees we got to take a hay ride. It was pretty fun. Plus the weather was great. The next day it dropped 45 degrees and by Monday we were covered in snow. I'm glad we got a tree before then.
The sad news- sometime during this adventure I lost my cell phone. It may have fallen out while I was taking pictures. I even drove back out there Monday to look for it- but no luck. Quinn says- this will turn out to be a pretty expensive tree.

Grandpas funeral

Quinn and I (and Lance) were able to fly to California for my grandpas funeral. We haven't been to my Aunt and Uncles since Granny's funeral. It was neat be be there and hear so many great stories about grandpa and the hard working guy he was. And it was great to see some family too! My mom and dad, and my brother & his wife, and my sister were there. My sisters husband was home with her kids!
This is a bunch of my Jorgenson cousins- some that I haven't seen for years! With granny and grandpa both gone, who knows when we'll get together. Someone will have to plan a reunion one of these days.

A favorite Jorgenson tradition after every picture-"Now a funny one".

Thanksgiving pictures

Since Christmas is almost here, I thought I'd better get some pictures up of our thanksgiving. The day started early for Quinn who helped put together a turkey bowl in the big Memorial stadium! Im trying to track down pictures from that. Later on we went to our good friends the Mathisons again this year and celebrated with lots of food, friends and fun! Dylan and his long lost brother- best buddy Caleb! Maybe they ate too much!
After dinner Makayla helped the kids make these cute cookie turkeys!

The cute girl table. Allie just wanted the green jello and celery.

Another cute kid table!

The bigger kid table- sorry we cut off half of Stacy- and wheres Tanya? It was really a fun day- we will be there again next year- so mark your calendar Mathisons!!!

Birthday Thank yous!

I had such a fun b-day this week! Thanks to all for the calls and cards, dinners, breakfasts, and gifts! It was really a fun day. Quinn took the kids and I to a fun dinner where they sang to me and Allie and brought out ice cream. Then home for the excitement of opening presents. Just a warm up for Christmas... Lance doesn't look too sure about all the excitement!

A fun Visit

We were so lucky to have some family come visit for a fun, fast trip! My parents, brother and sis in law and their three kids came out to Nebraska for some fun times. They also brought some warmer California weather with them, so we were very happy. We tried to show them all the fun things to do here in the great corn husker state. Here's a few pics of the fun! We spent some time at the Winter Quarters Visitor center- a fun place to visit.
We had to do the Children's museum. We tried to get a pic with Grandma and grandpa with all 7 grand kids- but that is a hard task. Here's my kids and my brothers twins!

Here you can find all 7 kids if you look closely. We are getting in the husker spirit!

Allie fell in love with Uncle Tyler. I told her that he was my little brother, like Lance is her little brother. That must be hard for a young 3 year old to get since Tyler is bigger than me. After they left she asked me "Mom, when is your little boy who was little but now big, going to come back? I miss him!" We love you Uncle Tyler.

Makayla and Taylor had so much fun together. We wish we were closer so these cousins could play more! Thanks for coming guys- we are so glad you were here!!!
