I can't believe we have four kids!

Heres our group- the four kids! We can hardly beleive it, but can you tell we are all so happy to have our new brother?! He is a cutie!

Lance turns 1 week old today- this last week has been a blur, and we are excited to be getting on schedule again. Hes sleeping much better and gives us little smiles a lot. We are loving it!

Our BIG kids...

I wanted to get some pictures up here of our big kids and what they have been up to. Dylan is playing soccer again and has had two games so far. He has already scored 5 goals! He is really getting good, and Quinn has been able to help coach at the games. He didn't think he would have the time, but so far we always find it. What a great dad! Dylan giving high-5's after scoring! (He the short one in the middle.)
Dylan listening to dad and the other coaches after the game!
Heres our Makayla with her piano teacher! Makayla had her first piano recital on sunday and she sounded beautiful!!! She has some natural talent. We were so proud of how good she did. She has a wonderful teacher who is extremely talented! We are having fun with our amazing kids.

Our family has grown by ONE!

Lance Quinn Draper was born at 12:00 pm Monday and was 8 lbs, 10 oz. and 21 inches long. Here he is happy to be with his mom and dad! The kids were so excited to come and meet him! The labor and delivery went really well- he was born pretty quickly and is adorable!
He loved relazing in the tub and the hospital. Look at that chunky guy!
Grandma J has been here helping with the kids and has been a big help!
He has adorable blue eyes!

We took him to the Dr. today- he is losing weight, but I think he will pick it back up soon. He is sleeping in the days and awake at night, so mom is TIRED, but we will get it figured out soon! We love him and can't believe we have four beautiful kids!!!

The date is set

I went to the Doc. today and it looks like we are going to induce labor to get this guy here. The plan is to go to the hospital Sunday night and they are going to use a Foley bulb to help dilate the cervix- then start pit in the morning. The Doctor thinks this won't be a long or hard labor- but we will see. Ive been induced for 3 now and each one was different. This one looks to be new too. I'm a little nervous, but glad my parents will be here to help with the other kids! Thats the latest newz here!

Baby Shower!

A sweet friend in the ward had a double baby shower for me, and our friend who is due with her fourth about a week after me. We had a fun morning visiting, having breakfast and getting spoiled with gifts! I am so lucky to have such good friends here in Nebraska! Its hard with the light- but you can see our tummies a little here!
Makayla was a helper taking some pictures and helping me open presents. She is such a good big sister!
Next Monday this baby should be here- ready or not!

Baby Update!

I had a doctors appointment this morning and everything is looking good. The Dr. seemed surprised I haven't dilated at all, but I told her that's how it goes for me. My babies don't like to come out on their own! I have one more appointment scheduled next week then I will go in to be induced on April 21st if he hasn't come by then. My due date is actually the 22nd, so hopefully this guy won't be too big. The Dr. doesn't think so- around 7 lbs is her guess. So I am just checking things off my list to get done before this baby comes. I painted the kitchen yesterday and have vacuumed out the van- still more to do, but that's keeping me busy. The kids are getting very excited. They don't have school on the 21st, so they think this baby being born is a holiday! We're excited form grandma and Grandpa to get here and are counting down the days.
We still don't have a name- but come on, are you surprised? We always have to look at our kids before we name them. 12 more days to go!

Conference sunday

I took this picture as conference was starting- while they were being good! We watched conference on our computer since we don't have it on TV here. It worked out pretty well. Makayla and Dylan had their conference packets out and MnMs for bingo. This lasted about an hour- then they were done. It was great to watch conference- then we took a walk around the block and we're getting ready for the next session!

GMO

I didn't type that wrong- Makayla and mom had a Girls Morning Out! We went to a nail school and both got pedicures! We thought it was pretty fun- they don't have smaller chairs for kids, so I worried Makayla was getting uncomfortable, but she said it was comfy- I think it almost put her to sleep. We didn't take any pictures there, but heres how our feet look now!

I wanted to have my toes done before this baby came and it was more fun to have her with me than go by myself!

Dad + Spring Break = Projects!!!

Quinn has a week off from school, so he has found many ways to keep busy. He spent Monday taking apart the bathroom fixtures and cleaning, replacing and recaulking in the bathrooms so they look like new! Then Tuesday he hung the white shutters on the house! Heres Makayla admiring her dads work when she got home from school!
Wednesday Quinn worked on our new porch railings. They look so great! He is such a handy man. We also got a new address to put up- that will got up later. Hes also gotten lots of yard work done. Thursday it rained most of the day so he and Allie built her a sandbox in the garage, then put it out back. She LOVES it. We put it under the back porch where the 'dog kennel' is. It should stay a little drier in there, and we can close it off to keep animals out! ;) The kids think its a little fort under there. We really love our yard.
We are looking forward to getting the plants and flowers in the front too. So much fun!
