LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

I can't believe my kids are done with first and third grades. Man- it goes fast. Here they as we get ready to walk on their last day!! I tried to put them in the same outfit they wore on the first day, but I forgot what Dylan wore- oh well- compare it to the picture on the First day. Here they go on their first day- for some reason they look happier on the last day!? But I can still see how much they have grown. Were so proud of our cute kids.

not again

Some of you may know that in Vegas the diamond and its setting fell out of my wedding ring. After a long day of searching and praying I found it on the floor. We took it in and got it fixed. Well, on Sunday I sat down in sacrament and looked at my hand and it had come off again!!! I was so upset, but knew it must be at home since I had just put my ring on before leaving for church. We found it again in the couch, but now Im wondering, how many time can I lose this and find it again?

SMILES

We have been getting some smiles from Lance for a while now, but over the last couple of days he has become quite the cheeser! He will give you a BIG whole mouth smile if you get him going. He loves to smile for Makayla too. Heres some cute pictures of our baby- almost 6 weeks old!!!
He REALLY loves the tub and you can get him almost laughing in the water. Its pretty funny.
This is a big smile! Shouldn't we all smile more?

Allies haircut

I've noticed that since Lance was born, many days would pass and Allies hair wasn't getting done. Or I would do her hair but it looked like I didn't a little while later, so I took her in for a haircut! She sat there super quiet not saying a word. (this does not happen often), but hasn't stopped talking about it since. We gave her a cute little bob that looks cute curled, or just down. She is getting so big!

We need to send a BIG thank you to my parents and Quinns parents who came out and helped when our new baby came. We couldn't have done it without you!! After a 'good' picture we have to take a silly one! I like Lances face in this one!
Now a nice one with Quinns mom and dad- we love you all!

Just an update- things are going well here on the home front. The big kids have three more weeks of school and are counting down! Im trying to get rest when I can, and taking it easy knowing I can't always get everything done in a day that I want to. But we are loving the nice spring weather here!

happy may day

I had Quinn take a picture of the popcorn popping on our tree out front. We have had lots of fun watching spring arrive! Today is May Day. Iguess growing up in the west we didn't celebrate it, but here in Nebraska May day is like a holiday. My kids came home from school telling me all about may day and how we are supposed to take baksets of treats to people. Then Quinn came home and said, "did you know today is may day? All the girls at work were passing out baskets and couldn't believe I didn't know what may day was." Then we ended up getting treats dropped on our door- four times tonight! I told the kids next year we will do may day.
So for thoses of you bloggers who know about it- Happy May Day! What a fun day- we will be sure to be on the ball next year.
