Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Please follow along with us as we travel through blog world, and we will teach you how to have a fun, successfully memorable day at Disneyland park in California. Please keep arms, legs and hand inside the ride at all times. Sit back, relax and enjoy the day!
First, it is s good idea to do some service to earn some free tickets to the park. Then take along your favorite grandma and Grandpa J to help share the day with you. Also, pick a day, like Thanksgiving, when others will be home eating turkey and you can enjoy the park!
Then you want to start with a quick picture in front of the Disneyland train station.
Then, if it is your birthday, or you're at the park for a special reason, please stop by and pick up your birthday button! (or your "Volunteer" button, or your "we're celebrating" button.)
Now, that everyone is buttoned up, let the real fun begin! jet over to your first ride- we recommend hitting Buzz lightyear. The line was super fast and it is such a fun interactive ride for children of all ages. (I don't think anyone beat Grandpa's score).
Then, send Grandpa to get a fast pass for space mountain, then get in line to drive the cars in Autotopia!
Everyone enjoys the ride!
Especially your 11 year old, who thinks she is big enough to drive all by herself!
Because we're still in California, expect a little traffic when you come to the end of your ride.
Now hop on the next ride, the new Nemo submarine mate'.
From there, send Grandma with the little one to pick a fun toy while the big ones go on the Matterhorn!
Yep- if you smile enough, the workers will slide you over for a minute and you can ride again! Unless you're only 5 and think its too scary, then you can hop off instead of going again!
Then you may need a more peacefull, happy ride to calm the 5 year old, so we recommend Its a small world! One of our personal favorites. At this time of year they mix jingle bells with it's a small world music, in all the many languages of the world. Everyone loves this one.
Now- its time to check in those fast passes! Space mountain and big thunder mountain. The daddy's are now having LOTS of fun!
Now you may need to refuel. Plan on meeting in Mickeys toon town where Grandma has taken the little ones to see mickey and Minnie. There are lots of choices for lunch and another roller coaster to ride here. Notice the sun- this is the warmest time of they beautiful sunny day!
No time to be tired-
The tea cups are calling!
If you're kids want to spin you around and around, play a little game and see who can keep your arms in the air the longest. ( they think its fun, and nobody is spinning you too much!)
A very happy unbirthday to you!
Now- lets run to the next fast pass you've picked up and hop right on Splash mountain!
Then if you have more fast passes than riders, you can send a couple of more back on- if they didn't get too wet the first time. While you're in Critter Corner, be sure to hop on Winnie the pooh, the kids love it, and it has the shortest rides in the whole park. Step right up!
Now take a break and see some friends like Tigger,
Winnie the pooh,
and Eeyore!
Now swing back through and hop on a fun jungle cruise and then pirates of the Caribbean- fun for the whole family!
Then swing back to the back of the park where you can see santa, reindeer, and mrs Claus!
And theres more friends- like Pluto to see.
Now is a good time to send Grandma J to the parade route to save you a front row seat. Then the boys can go hit Pinocchio, while the girls go meet a couple of princesses!
The girls and boys can meet back on the carousel, the hop on Caseys Jr's train before going back to the parade with Grandma.
Don't forget to stop and try out the sword in stone.
enjoy the parade- its lots of fun!
Now you're getting tired, but its time to dig deep, hold strong and get the most fun out of every minute.
We suggest hopping back on Buss lightyear, to get you pumped up, then send the big ones back on the Matterhorn, and the little ones back to It's a Small world!
Then theres time for Indiana Jone's ride, and then some fireworks, and then the haunted Mansion will complete the rides for the day.
As you head down main street, catch any more characters there, take some more pictures and sigh a breath of relief-
you've just conquered a FABULOUS day at the Happiest Place on Earth.
You will know your day was a success when your youngest asks to go to Disneyland, everyday for the next two weeks!
Thanks for the Fun trip mom and dad! We had such a great time, the kids are already planning the next one!

First off, I'm so jealous you guys went. We're planning on going in spring. Second, Allie looks so big to me. Boo hoo. Lincoln just said 2 days ago, "Allie's mom can help her when she's on the phone. Can you do that?"
