Go Big Red!

Before we move from Nebraska, I had to go to a Husker football game in Memorial Stadium. It is unreal how into the huskers this town gets. It is really fun how everyone wears their husker clothes and has out their flags and Herbie Huskers outside. It is pretty exciting. We didn't have tickets, but got a sitter, put on our husker clothes and drove downtown. We followed the swarm of red towards the stadium and found a man on the corner with some tickets. Since it was so close to game time, we bought them for a good deal and went right into the stadium. Wow- it is pretty amazing in there.
Before the game begins it gets pretty loud. When the team runs out it is crazy!

After our first touchdown, you can watch the red balloons float away!

You really don't get to sit much, pretty much stand the whole game, and cheer with the people around you. Small world story- the girl next to me has friends that went to school with Quinn's brothers in Washington. Pretty funny.
It was fun to go- and more exciting that we beat Oklahoma- (even with the refs against us!)
Go Big Red!

You can't leave Nebraska without a football game! I only went to one, and it was their worst loss in 50 years. It was still an experience!!! You should take pictures of the changes at the college and post them so we can see the difference!
